Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is an inventor, businessperson, actress and model. She started her career in the Australian market and then moved to Hollywood in which she had great popularity. George was born in Perth in Western Australia, initially was interested in dancing and the art of roller-skating. She began modeling when she was young and in the teens. She was voted Western Australia's teenager Model Of The Year. The following year, she was on the screen for an episode on the soap-opera series Seven Network Home and Away. The big screen debut came with Dark City, a mystery thriller. Her subsequent roles included parts in supporting roles on shows including Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005 she made her first major Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. She is currently one of Hollywood's most sought after Australian expatriates. George being an entrepreneur is launching her own product Style Snaps on the market.
