Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous for the films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The film Piano earned her numerous awards which included an Oscar. The successful actress began her acting career by performing on stage, with an array of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. The actress has had a passion for acting ever since she was in high school. The first time she appeared in a play in fifth grade was Helen Keller. The mumps caused her to lose hearing in one her ear canals, but that did not stop her from pursuing her dream. When she was a teenager, she studied drama in college and moved from Pittsburgh to New York City from Pittsburgh so that she could achieve her goals. In a chance encounter she became trapped in an elevator along with the playwright Beth Henley and the two joined forces to create the Broadway Crimes of the Heart that was Hunter's first performance. When she moved to Los Angeles she tried to obtain film roles and was offered the role of a co-star in Swing Shift. Her work spans over 30 years and she's appeared in a variety of TV films as well as series and films. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
